(More customer reviews)I've owned my K&N FIPK cold air intake for about a year now - and I can say that it has certainly increased my gas mileage. Before and after installing it, I paid very close attention the gas gage, as well as the trip computer functions associated with mileage on my jeep. I took that information and was mathematically able to show an average improvement in mileage. However, it was not a large improvement (about 2mpg). Ultimately, the boost in mpg meant that I could travel an additional 40 miles (~20 gallon tank * 2 mpg increase) on a single tank with the new intake assembly. I would say that is worth the investment. But, please note that flooring the pedal at every opportunity will negate any mileage gains. It's also important to maintain your car. Not doing so can also negate any gains.
I have not yet had my horsepower rated, but the bigger and more aggressive sound alone is proof enough for me.
