(More customer reviews)I thought Airtex was a reputable company. Their web site states "Headquartered in Fairfield, IL, Airtex holds multiple quality certifications including ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001." Nowhere on the airtexproducts.com web site does it say they actually build the product in Communist China. The only reason this gets one star rating...is because I can't give it a ZERO-star rating.
They must recognize how bad that is, the "Made in China" is printed on the box in a font size so small as to be nearly unreadable; and it's NOWHERE in the Amazon description.
I'm in the process of returning it to Amazon for refund, and my vehicle will sit for another few days waiting for a replacement fuel pump. I don't want another delay, but it's not like I'm going to trust Chinese child-labor to build a product that is so difficult to replace when it fails.
