(More customer reviews)So far so good on this unit and I like the idea it comes from Bosch. I trust this brand name and have had good luck with their products in the past. I think the original OEM pump was junk even though it lasted for 128K miles as I have other OEM fuel pumps that were shot at 85K miles. All OEM pumps (GM) are of Mexican origin and the Bosch replacement is made in the USA which is a good thing but to be fair Bosch does manufacture in China. A replacement water pump I bought was made there but the quality looked good so I went ahead and installed it. BTW, the price at Amazon was not to be beat! I love this store as this Bosch unit was considerably more expensive at another online auto parts retailer. Thank goodness for Amazon!!! Hope this helps and the money you save at Amazon allows you to farm out the work as it is no fun lowering a gas tank in your driveway and could prove dangerous. Leave this project for the professionals with a lift and proper tools regardless how much experience you possess. Final tip, low fuel will cause any pump to fail that much sooner, keep gas in the tank.
