(More customer reviews)This programmer does ok except for after a day or two the vehicle's computer regulates the power output anyways. I then changed my spark pugs and wires but that was a big mistake not using Motorcraft parts as the performance tuning didn't agree with it and I had a little bit of bucking and power loss and the engine light come on, so I reset it to factory where it runs fine, until I buy more plugs and wires that will agree with it. *Note the instructions do say that it is tuned for a stock vehicle and that its made for a vehicle that has extra performance parts-they are not kidding.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product mainly to calibrate for larger tires and bigger gears. The problem is if you own a 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic with the 5.3 liter flex fuel motor, this product simply will not work. None of the features will work, you can plug it in and pull the stock tune off the truck but that is it. I spoke directly to the company and they are aware of the issue with this particular vehicle. They have been working on solving the issue but it seems it has taken some while and still there is no tune to make it function as it should.

(More customer reviews)This programmer is very easy to use. It does add more power, especially in the premium fuel mode. However, it did not add any more mpg. It makes the transmission shift more firmly and that is a benefit. Is it worth over $300? If you have changed wheels/tires, want more rpm's for racing, and more top end speed - yes. More gas mileage - no. A little more HP and TQ - sure.

I have a F250 on 37's with an 8 inch lift. I also pull a Toy Hauler that weighs about 10,000LBS. I get about 12-14 towing that. 18-21MPG just driving. You can tow on stage 3 with no problems. Buy this chip now.....

(More customer reviews)Easy to use product and a no brainer to use. Can't complain except for the bulkiness of the module. It reminds me of the old Motorola "brick" phones. You don't need something that big. It would have been beneficial to be much smaller so you can monitor the vehicle while driving.
I purchased it through Amazon for a great price and figured out why. The firmware was about a year old which tells me it sat in their warehouse for some time. I used it to get a professional dyno tune so it didn't matter.

After evaluating my mgp over 1100 highway miles I actually saw a decrease in mpg. The increase in power was negligible. I would not recommend buying this product.

K&N 57-1526 Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I've owned my K&N FIPK cold air intake for about a year now - and I can say that it has certainly increased my gas mileage. Before and after installing it, I paid very close attention the gas gage, as well as the trip computer functions associated with mileage on my jeep. I took that information and was mathematically able to show an average improvement in mileage. However, it was not a large improvement (about 2mpg). Ultimately, the boost in mpg meant that I could travel an additional 40 miles (~20 gallon tank * 2 mpg increase) on a single tank with the new intake assembly. I would say that is worth the investment. But, please note that flooring the pedal at every opportunity will negate any mileage gains. It's also important to maintain your car. Not doing so can also negate any gains.
I have not yet had my horsepower rated, but the bigger and more aggressive sound alone is proof enough for me.

K&N 57-2544 Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this K&N product and installed on my vehicle. It's something I've looked at for awhile as a "fun" potential upgrade, but I'd been overwhelmed at the price. Well, I got this for a reasonable rate, and I must I'm pleased at the results. The car definitely has more seat of the pants power, and the additional intake noise is fun as well. At normal throttle settings, it's nearly indetectibe. So far, no negative trade-offs in my opinion.
The installation is fairly straight forward, though the directions falsely indicate "with supplied hardware", where you actually use existing hardware to mount several components. This did set me back a little. Also, the radiator shroud bolt is not long enough to accomodate the forward mounting bracket. One trip to the hardward store for a longer 8mm cap screw solved this however.
Overall good kit, and it makes my 2000 HPP car more fun.
