(More customer reviews)BMW switched to a fuel filter with a built in pressure regulator mid-way through the E46 series. Yes, this filter is cheap, but please check and see if you need the other filter type. (which is conveniently much more expensive than this model...go figure)
Moral of the story: Just because it says this filter is for your vehicle doesn't mean it will be the part you need.
