(More customer reviews)This K&N makes a fantasic noise when you floor the gas pedal. It's a nice deep snarl, but at idle, you don't have any extra noise.
The installation on a 5 year old Explorer wasn't hard, though one of the brackets was tricky to figure out. The total installation only took about an hour.
