(More customer reviews)For some reason, Ford seems to think that cap-less fuel filling is a major selling point for their new vehicles. I bought a 2011 Fiesta in January 2011 and, with the price of gasoline rising since then, worried about my gasoline being stolen. Add to that a slight inconvenience I experienced when my "Check Engine" light came on shortly after refueling. When the Ford dealership checked the car out, the verdict came back that the fault code probably was caused by the flapper not sealing completely. This Ford locking gas plug comes with two keys, fits well in the USA-spec Fiesta (although another reviewer's comments suggest a possible incompatibility between this plug and vehicles built for Ford's Asian market), and seems to be just the ticket to calm my fears and hopefully keep the "Check Engine" light off. The only reason that the plug didn't rate a 5-star rating for me was that it is a little inconvenient not to have a tethered plug/cap. It seems sturdy, the lock works just fine, and it is not a lot to pay for additional peace of mind. Highly recommended!
