Holley 17-47 TBI Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)If you are trying to adapt a Holley Pro-Jection 2b kit to a 2 barrel manifold, this is the only way to go. I tried another adapter and even with tons of grinding and porting it would not fit 100% correct. This adapter fit perfectly on the 2 barrel Holley 2300 manifold and the projection bolted right up. The 4 bolts for the manifold were a little tight, but just make sure to start them by hand first before tightening everything down. On the other adapter I was having issues with a vacuum leak no matter what gasket I used. This one there was no leak at all. As a side note, on several sites it said that it did not come with gaskets or hardware, but this kit came with both gaskets (top and bottom) as well as the necessary 4 bolts to bolt it down to the manifold. Overall I am quite satisfied with the product.

(More customer reviews)This item was expected to be GREEN! It was not! It was white as the see threw paper it was made of!
If it were GREEN, I would expect it to last longer and filter harder! Did I not pay for GREEN? That is what I took out of the car! That is what is pictured last year & today!
The cabin filters, sold with it, are replacement inserts! FINE! That I kind of expected. BUT~ If they were, as pictured on the box, Arm & Hammer treaded! I would expect and I did expect more than WHITE see threw paper!
Amazon needs to fix the picture here or send me the GREEN one as pictured! I paid for a GREEN filter & did not get it!

Lisle 63250 Wide Range Filter Wrench Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this wrench and the similar Lisle Import Oil Filter wrench (for smaller filters). I can report that they are both well made, and they both work really well at removing stuck-on oil filters where you only have an "end view" of the filter.
Here are some specific likes:
1) The two jaws, each with two biting "teeth", grip the filters tightly. I put my "three finger" style wrenches (which don't grip nearly as well)into the recycling bin after using this wrench for the first time.
2) The jaws are spring loaded, which holds the wrench in place on the filter while you get in position to turn the ratchet. A nice feature.
3) The harder you turn, the tighter it grips. You may dent the end of the filter a little, but the filter will break free.
4) Between the two wrenches, they cover every size from small lawn tractor filters up through automotive and truck (F350 etc)filters. You don't need a large collection of "cup style" filters. I put a few of these in the recycling bin as well after using this wrench for the first time.
Lisle has solved the oil filter removal issue with these wrenches.

(More customer reviews)This thing is junk. It would not pump whatsoever. After half of hour of trying, I took it apart and tried to lubricate the seals. A tiny bit better but still worthless. The hoses are also stiff and come out of the can easily.
Save your money. This thing is wortheless. I would give it negative stars if there was a way to do so! Reason being that you have open and mess with it to find out it doesn't work and after that, it is hart to return it.

And again at the year's end when I put the bike away for the Winter. It prevents the fuel from gumming up the FI and fuel lines while the bike is not in use. A great product.

K&N 33-2362 Replacement Air Filter Review

(More customer reviews)Had one of these in an '05 Dakota and ad satisfactory results again when I got one to replace te disposable paper filter in the Patriot. I averaged an extra (rater recovered) 1-2 MPG city even after oly 3k miles on the original stock filter. almost at 20K miles and response and fuel economy still have a reasonable improvement over the stock paper filter.
I may in the future upgrade to a CAI kit they released last year for the Jeep Patriot. I hear it gives a nice little boost in overall performance and a more appealing sound, but K&Ns CAI kit costs about 4-5 times as much as this alternative to the disposable OEM rectangular filter.

If you are not super careful you end up with alot of oil on top of your engine. Pour spot is to short and to stiff also. I bought both the 6 and the 8 guart and both have the same problem.

Spectre 3008B Magna-Braid Heater Hose Sleeving - 6-Feet Long Review

There is absolutely no finishing to the ends, and they did spread a little. You would lose ~1/2 from either end to clean it up if you wanted it perfect.
I was disappointed that there were several snags along the length. It's unlikely these happened in transit as it's packaged in plastic. If you're looking for a perfect hose cover, expect some blemishes. If you want to spend 8 hours tracing tiny wires, maybe you could pull it in like a snagged sweater. Good luck.
That's the reason for the three star rating. I wasn't covering a hose though, I was using it as a mesh strainer for a home brew kettle. It worked well for that, so a few creases and snags here or there didn't really bother me.
It's not a perfect product, but for the price... you're probably not using this for a show car. I wouldn't anyway.
No problems with the supplier or packaging.

Drinking Water Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure how well this pump would work; but, immediately was impressed with how well it pumped the water out. It was easy to set up and change when the bottle is empty. It pumps the water until there is very little water left. Works great for what I need it for, mostly larger quantities of water for making pots of coffee and cooking. Even fine for just a glass of water.

Wix 42159 Air Filter, Pack of 1 Review

(More customer reviews)This Wix air filter is a replacement for the stock air filter in an early model Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with original "F" engine. My model is a 11/1974 "1.5" model with the oil filter on the passenger side, the last series before they came out with the "2F" engine. The air filter has a metal top and bottom, the one that the previous owner had installed had hard rubber instead of metal, so make sure that your rubber parts inside the air filter holder is intact. There seems to be adequate pressure to hold the air filter in place and it fits exactly as the old one did.
Wix makes the parts for the Napa Gold filters, so you can probably save a few $$$ by buying these. I think they are very much worth the price and I'm glad they fit properly.

The sizes at the end of the funnel are different - wish I'd paid more attention to that as this yellow one is a little smaller diameter. That'll teach me to pay attention to the fine print. Anyway, I was worried when I went to start it, but it started right up. Went up to the store to get what the wife forgot for dinner, and I can really feel a difference in the response when I put my foot down.
I am curious about the mileage it might save and I look forward to that. The mileage thing is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.
