I followed the directions to install it which were pretty easy but once I got it on and shut the door and of course it didn't fit. The door had about an inch and a half gap, so I don't recommend this product for this vehicle.

(More customer reviews)I'll second what another reviewer wrote - although the photo on the product page appears to show something made of metal, the body of these things is PLASTIC.
Having said that, they're decently made and cheap. So if you're not looking for something really heavy-duty, probably a good choice - they've worked well for me in hobby use. But I'm very careful not to tighten them too much!

Denso 234-4261 Oxygen Sensor (Air and Fuel Ratio Sensor) Review

(More customer reviews)My SUV (2002 4Runner SR5 V6) got the check engine light at approximately 126K miles. The code was P0420. The original Toyota O2 sensor (the one located after the catalytic converters)was removed and replaced with a new Denso oxygen sensor(p/n 234-4261, purchased from Amazon.com). After installing the sensor, the check engine light turned off by itself after driving approximately 60 miles. The new Denso oxygen sensor is identical to the original Toyota oxygen sensor. The part arrived sealed in a plastic bag along with a small tube of anti-seize lubricant. Amazon.com had the best deal compared to other vendors (The dealership wanted around $160+ for the same part).
I also replaced the air/fuel sensor (the one located in front of the catalytic converters) a while back around 85K miles when the Check Engine Light lit up(Code P1135). The Check Engine light also turned off by itself after the new A/F sensor was installed. Amazon.com also has the best price on the A/F sensor. I'm so glad I don't have to go to the Toyota dealership for parts again. Thanks to Amazon.com.

Airtex E3953M Electric Fuel Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this pump because I am a tightwad. I will not install it because it is not AIRTEX brand. I bought an Airtex to compare. The pump AMAZON sold is not even labeled airtex, nowhere is it labeled Airtex, neither on the part or the box. This part sold through AMAZON is a fake and is not the real thing. This is an imitation, not an airtex. I should have known but I figured if it was on Amazon it would be okay, right? It is not okay, this is a poorly made copy of an Airtex, but this is not an airtex.
This non-genuine, non Airtex, imitation, aftermarket, cheaply made, semblance of an Airtex, this Airtex fake fuel pump may work, but I refuse to spend the time to install this cheap copy of the real thing to find out how long it will last.
MAYBE this is a well made pump, even though it is marketed as an AIRTEX, it is not. IT is a rip off copy off an Airtex, but not an Airtex.
This fake pump is sold under non truthful advertising because it is not an Airtex. It may be a very good quality pump, but it is not an Airtex brand, as it was represented.
Buyer Beware of buying fakes.
If it was labeled and offered as "Compare to Airtex", then the public would be aware that it was not a genuine Airtex and then I would be totally content with this product that apppears to be somewhat well built, but it is not an Airtex product.

(More customer reviews)I was very satisfied with the quality of this product and the excellent instructions included. My Air Intake system is installed on a 2005 Dakota 4.7 V8. It has improved horse power and accelaration as expected. I can't speak to specifics on fuel economy changes, because I am in Michigan and it's 4 wheel drive snow season. My guess is on the one tank before snow season it improved by about 2 miles per gallon. It has a real nice Power sound when you put your foot into it. I like it.

Most diy'ers tend to forget the fuel filter when changing oil and such. You don't want your fuel pump working too hard to feed your engine. When I removed the old filter. a black, dark, almost oil like substance came out of the filter. I couldn't believe the engine was still running with all that resistance. The new filter fit like a charm and the truck is running smoother.

Airtex E8312 Electric Fuel Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace the aging fuel pump on my 1976 Datsun 280z.
The fuel injection on my car is rated to 36.3 PSI nominal operating pressure.
This pump outputs EIGHT PSI. 8 PSI!
Needless to say, there's no way the car will ever run with this pump installed. I will not be purchasing anything made by this company again.
Absolutely ridiculous.
(Oh, and in case you're wondering if I bought the wrong pump: I didn't. Amazon lists this as the correct replacement, as does CSK/Oreilly's, as does Autozone, etc. Putting this 100% on Airtex, not the retailers).
