This Product is labeled as a "Spacer". The current gasket being used is more of a spacer. The measurments are deceptive. Height or Width could be interpitted as Thickness. However this is not the case. The product is only 1/16th of an inch thick. This is not a "Spacer".

Denso 671-4286 Wire Set was installed on my 2008 CHevy Aveo, very good instructions and included Conduction Grease - nice. Although workable, these were a little long for the application, and that's the only reason here for the 4 stars vice 5. Looked to be a high quality wire - not uber high quality - but that's not what it claims to be nor what I needed/expected.

I have a 3.9 liter V6 mustang. I was concerned that this might not work being that Ford changed the engine from 3.8 to 3.9 mid year in 2004 but it works fantastic. I bought this and a K&N intake at the same time. I could not wait to try the tuner out so I installed the 87 octane tune as soon as I got it.I installed the tune before installing the cold air intake. This thing works great. The acceleration that I get now is a lot better than the stock tune. I cannot wait to see how much better the cold air intake is going to make it. I definitely would recommend this to any V6 Mustang owner.

Garmin zumo 665 Widescreen Motorcyle Navigator Review

Garmin zumo 665 Widescreen Motorcyle Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After riding on a 1000 mile trip this week, here is my review of my first use of the 665 on a road trip. I ride about 20,000 miles per year and have used the Zumo 550 (my previous Garmin) for 45,000 miles the past 3 years, hence my comparison of the 665 to the 550.
Cons:
Major problem with the unit is the XM features shutting down unexpectedly. One of the reviews here experienced similar problems and was told by Garmin that the antennal cable is faulty and a new cable is being designed. I do not think the cable hardware is the issue. I believe it is the software. I experienced the same problem once before I left on the trip and was told by Garmin Tech to perform a hard reset of the unit by holding your index finger on the lower right corner as you turn the unit on until you see the message that "a reset will erase your data". You have to select "yes" or "no". Yes does reset the XM but erased all of my favorites, routes and settings. The unit reverts to the settings as it comes from the factory. Also, sometimes during this trip, I had to turn off the XM and then back on in order to reacquire the XM programming. I have the XM subscriptons for XM radio, NavWeather and NavTraffic. When XM stops, all of those are lost until a hard reset. I had to do hard resets at least 10 times on this trip-very, very inconvenient when riding a motorcycle down the road. I had bought the Zumo 665 to replace my Zumo 550 since the 665 has the Nexrad Radar display...very, very helpful when riding in the elements. The radar works fine when XM is working. When removing the until from the motorcycle mount, be sure it is off. Otherwise, you will have to hard reset to regain the XM features the next time you restart it in the motorcycle mount. Changing stations on the XM radio also stopped the XM features twice. I quit using the XM radio to listen to after the second time this occurred. Garmin has not offered a fix for these problems as of yesterday.
The XM local weather stations are far apart. On the 550, the stations were the closest aviation reporting stations. Example is riding through Louisiana local stations were Shreveport or Baton Rouge. I was closer to both Monroe and Alexandria at different times with no report. The 550 had a weather map so one could look ahead at stations all over the USA, touch one and get the weather and forecast. But, again, the 550 had no weather radar.
The unit shut itself down twice with no input.
Pressing hard on the lower right corner shuts down the unit. This corner needs touching to scroll through points of interest among other pieces of info. A light touch is required to avoid this.
The volume is lower for the XM radio relative to the 550. I can barely hear the radio at 70 mph. The 550 works well at 70 mph. I have the XM and the media player set at 100% along with the master volume set at 100%.
The text and display graphics are smaller than the 550 even though the total screen size is slightly bigger. Some of this is attributed to the amount of info on the screen that I select. I have not tried selecting less screen info yet to see if that helps. I like the info I have displayed now and hate to reduce it.
Pros:
Big pro is the Nexrad Radar when XM is working.
Lots more information such as showing lanes ahead so you can plan sooner where you need to be at intersections, especially on the freeway. Also, shows what the major overhead intersection signs display before you can see them-nice feature.
Lighter than the 550 and the shape makes it less likely to fall from your grasp when transferring it to another vehicle.
Bluetooth for touch free cell phone use. I use in the auto but not the motorcycle.
Conclusion:
Overall this unit, pricy compared to auto-only units, but waterproof and vibration proof will be acceptable once the software fix for XM is ready for upload to make that part of the unit reliable. At that point I will be ready to give the unit a 5.Follow up on July 27, 2010
Here is a follow up as of July 27, 2010. I sent this 665 back to Garmin, who then returned another to me (different serial number). First problem was the off/on switch sticks, so difficult to shut it down. It would turn on fine, but the switch would stick down in the unit.
As far as the XM goes, it worked fine one day on a 200 mile ride. The next day, it quit again with the same message-check XM antenna.
As of today, I have another RMA to return this unit for another. I am still very frustrated with unit-problems still exist. As of October 3, 2010
Garmin finally sent me an entire new until including new XM receiver and all accessories. I changed out the XM receiver and either that or the last software update seems to have cured all my previous issues. The XM subscriptions come up very quickly now, with the weather taking the longest, but never more than a couple of minutes. I'd highly recommend this motorcycle unit if you wish to have weather radar as your cruise down the road.

I have had this intake for just over a year, and am still impressed with it. I did notice a slight performance increase, about 1 mpg increase and the "Brute Force" is a pretty fair title. The sound is pretty aggressive when you get on the gas, but when you are cruising you won't even notice the difference. In my opinion it's the best of both worlds. Also, not having to oil it like most other intakes is a huge bonus.

I was hoping for a little more solidity to the product, but that would really be unnecessary. It feels fine in use. The tank part feels very solid, and it stands up securely (especially when it is full). When tipped over, it does leak slowly. I use it for dispensing cutting oil on my drill press.

Power Bright XTW3000-12 Pure Sine Power Inverter 3000 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt AC Review

Power Bright XTW3000-12 Pure Sine Power Inverter 3000 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt AC
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This inverter is a great value. It shipped with 3' of 0-gauge cables to connect it to the batteries, which was a nice bonus. The remote looks like a little keyless entry car key fob with three buttons, but only one button seems to do anything - it toggles the inverter on or off. Of course, the switch on the inverter must be in the "on" position for the remote to work.
I installed it in my camper with 300Ah Lifeline batteries and I was able to run both the air conditioner and the microwave at the same time, using about 2700W according to the inverter's display.
Here are the downsides - the 4 plugs each have an independent 15amp breaker on them, so by default you can't run any single device that requires more than about 1500W. But I opened the inverter and noticed that the left and right plugs are wired to the same place (and on the same phase). So, if you tie them together, you can get 30A out of it without popping the breakers.
But the biggest downside is the overheat shutoff feature. According to the manual, the thing will shut itself down if the ambient temperature goes above 37C. That's only 95F. So if you're counting on it for air conditioning, you better have a way to cool off the inverter before you count on the inverter to run the air conditioner!!
This may not be the best inverter to build into the camper, but at this price it's hard to ignore.

NGK 24642 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging Review

I drive a modified 05' Subaru Impreza WRX STi. I was impressed the sensor came with the correct wire length which was sheaved. A plus because you don't it either too long or short with the down pipe, shifter linkage and drive shaft in close proximity. Also came with nylon mounting hole wire ties just like the factory used, plus a little tube of copper anti-seize for the threads. I was happily surprised the sensor is made in the U.S.A.. I'm guessing NGK supplies O2 sensors to Japanese auto makers who have plants in north America.

TomTom XL 350M 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Lifetime Maps Edition) Review

TomTom XL 350M 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Lifetime Maps Edition)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
****Update****
I changed my review of this GPS from five stars down to three stars for a few different reasons and I ended up taking the GPS unit back to the place I purchased it from (it was very hard to walk away from the $129 sale price) and purchased the TomTom XL340 TM.
The main reason I traded this unit in for a new one was the user interface. I completely understand that TomTom wants to create a simple user interface geared towards the 80% of people who want a simple and easy to understand GPS unit. On this, the XL 350 TM performs exceptionally well. However, if you want to really customize the GPS to do things for you, then you are out of luck because you cannot update very manypreferences in the unit. I like to tinker with the GPS unit and in the end I want ultimate control over what is on the screen and what information I can or cannot get. The 350 TM does not give you ANY leeway to set up the GPS in the exact way you want. If you see the words "Easy Menu" on the box and you like to have control over everything the GPS displays then the unit will not be for you. If you want simple and easy-to-understand-out-of-the-box performance, then this GPS will work fine.
The XL 340TM GPS uses the old menu system from TomTom. I ended up paying $60 more for this GPS but it was important to me to be able to customize the menu system. This unit also has lifetime maps and traffic and this was my main reason for buying a new GPS. Instead of two options on the main screen, I have ten. Under the preferences menu this unit lets me check seven different boxes under the Safety Preferences menu. Additionally there are two other sub-screens under this that let me set when I am driving on the wrong side of the road and to choose if I ever want the map display shut off. I can also change the information displayed on the status bar and on the 350 I could not. There was no compass function that I could see on the 350 that is available here. It also lets me set up different information on the Quick Menu preferences and this option was not available on the 350 at all. It also lets me check off about 15 different items under planning preferences including things like avoiding toll roads, avoiding ferries, plan routes by fastest times, shortest routes, avoiding freeways etc. Under Advanced Preferences it lets you select options like displaying street names, house numbers before street names, lane images etc. You can also prepare routes on this unit and also build an itinerary including waypoints.
I also sent an email to the TomTom support team asking if there was anyway I could get and use the old menu system they used and was told that is was not possible. The problem with this response? It took TomTom over a week to answer my question. That seems like a very long response time and is another reason I took one more star off of my rating.
Overall the 350 was a nice unit and easy to use, it simply did not allow me to customize the GPS like I wanted to.
*****Update over*****
I travel a lot for my job and have used an older model Mio GPS unit to get me to my destinations. The Mio worked fine for the most part, but the last time I went to a new city the maps were very old and out of date. I decided it was time to upgrade to a new GPS unit and researched Garmin and TomToms because they are the two biggest players in the market. In the end, the lifetime traffic and lifetime map upgrades pushed me towards the TomTom XL 350 TM, a model that just came out at the end of May 2010.
In my research for a new GPS it seems that people either liked Garmin or the TomTom because of the interface. People usually had a strong bias for one or the other. The interface did not matter to me as much as what I could get for my money. I seriously looked at the Garmin nuvi 780 because this is a top-of-the-line Garmin, albeit a discontinued model, and Amazon is selling it for 74% off the original price. For the money it seemed like a fantastic deal except for two things. This unit uses MSN Direct content for traffic and you have to pay a subscription fee after the trial period ends, and MSN is discontinuing this service at the beginning of 2011. This unit did not include lifetime updated maps, which is a big deal for someone buying a new GPS unit simply because the old one had maps in it that are getting obsolete.
Since lifetime maps were very important to me (without having to shell out $100 more for the upgrade) my choices were suddenly locked in on TomTom units. I researched their products and decided I was either going to get the XL 540 TM (the TM is lifetime traffic and maps) or the same unit but with a smaller screen size, the XL 340 TM. I decided I was going to go for the one with the 4.3" wide screen, the XL 340 TM, instead of the bigger 5" screen because I read that the 5" screen is cumbersome for the window mount to handle.
Well the best laid plans sometimes go astray because when I went into Best Buy they had the brand new XL 350 TM on sale for $169.99 when the regular price was $229.99. I bought the unit immediately beacuse I figured the unit was very similar if not an improvement over the XL 340 TM.
Here are my first impressions after using the TomTom XL 350 TM for two days.
1.The design is sleek with a crisp and clear screen. My old Mio looks like a clunky old refrigerator compared to the new TomTom.
2.I wish TomTom had an external memory card on these units. I have read people have had problem updating maps because they have run out of room on the unit. Since I read about it, I was expecting it, and ended up backing up my unit and then deleting the French and the Spanish language functions to free up space. This freed up about 30 mb on a 2 gb flash drive. TomTom could fix this issue by simply making the maps of Canada, the United States and Mexico separate. Anyway, the fix of deleting the French and Spanish speaking files worked well.
3.The instructions are very skimpy in the box. There are basically no instructions on how to set up and install the new software on the device. This was not a big deal for me because I researched the hell out of it, but for someone like my mom this would be a killer. I connected the device to my computer and found the setup program on the device and ran it.
4.When you first plug the unit into the computer it takes an hour and a half to download the new maps and the GPS fix software. After it downloads all the software it needs, then you install the TomTom Home software. This is not really installed on your machine, but rather it is an account set up on a web site and the software seems to reside there.
5.Once you install the Home software or set up an account, the icons in TomTom Home are very easy to understand and use. I performed a backup of my unit and then I deleted the Spanish and French language files from the unit. If TomTom would ever install Mexico, Canada and the United States separately then space would not be an issue because most sane people would never rent a car or drive in Mexico unless you lived there, and then if you did liver in Mexico you most likely would not need maps of Canada. This is a very small issue but one that could be fixed with minimal issues.
6.Once you perform the backup and delete you install the software upgrade to the TomTom. This did not take long at all, maybe 15 minutes.
7.The window unit is very different from the Mio. I like the looks of it because it looks elegant. It is a little awkward to use at first, but after you get used to it then it works as designed. My Mio had a linchpin system to hold the unit to the window unit and over time I lost the linchpin so the design there wasn't perfect. This design is like a hip joint, a ball in the socket, and although it moves stiff (I bet in order to keep the GPS unit still) it functions well and had no problems holding the unit on the window or dash. It is easy to unsnap the unit from the wondow mounting device so you can take the GPS unit with you instead of leaving it in the car.
8.The user interface on the GPS unit is simple and easy to use. It is very intuitive and when you fist turn it on there are pop-up balloons there to help guide you through the process. By playing around with it for a bit I became very adept at doing what I needed to get done for the GPS unit to function.
9.I like the graphics on this unit. The GPS fired up and found a signal within seconds (my old unit took up to a minute or so to lock onto a satellite). I typed in the address of where I wanted to go, it plotted a route for me, and I hit the done button to get the 3-D view map on the screen. From there it is easy because you follow the prompts. The section on the bottom of the screen tells you which way your next turn will be(left or right) and it tells you how far away from the turn you are at the moment. This unit is accurate to within 5 feet or so of where my car was so it would be very hard to miss a turn. My old unit was only locked in from about 20 yards, which caused problems sometimes when I was on a freeway and passed my exit going 70.
10.I have not been able to get lane assist to work yet (I only drove local routes). This is part of the reason I bought this unit. From the pictures on other reviews it looks great.
11.I have no clue on how the routing is compared to my old unit yet. I will get a better judge of this over time. I like it a lot so far.
12.The screen is absolutely bright enough to see in the daytime. The sound is loud enough to hear the spoken street names and directions.Overall I highly recommend this unit. If anything changes in the next few months I will come in and update my review.
