(More customer reviews)First who knows what the big knob on the side of the spout is since its not on the spout you'll receive in the mail. This is a spring loaded press down spout where you catch the edge of the tank to be filled, there are two hooks on the spout, and press down. What makes this one particularly difficult to use is to make it work you have to twist the green collar to align some plastic teeth before it will work. The green collar is actually a safety locking mechanism. Yes, lift the 40lb can, hook on the edge of the opening in the tank your filling, then while balancing the can in the air one handed, reach down and twist the green locking mechanism to align with three black teeth openings. Good news is on the third time I used it the green collar broke. Now its just a regular press down plastic nozzle. Nothing special. Better than the crazy flap lever valve with built in locking switch valves you get with most plastic cans these days. But not much. Its looking like $60 Eagles or nothing if you want something even remotely usable. I've ordered two others to try...haven't received those yet. Fingers crossed.
