(More customer reviews)I have both the type I and the type II. I found that on my Dodge Ram and Kobota tractor I need a funnel with both types of cans. The Justrite plastic funnel works well as does the Eagle plastic funnel. Justrite even makes a metal funnel that works better. I just place the funnel in the tank and pour.
The can is heavy when full but it beats the plastic ones by a mile. Sturdy, takes a beating, and vents when the temps rise unlike the plastic ones.
For diesel operations I would recommend the type I over the II since I cannot raise the type II can high enough to drain into the tank with out scratching the paint unless I use a funnel sitting in the tank.
