(More customer reviews)I bought this cap a few months ago thinking it would be a nice feature not to have to fiddle with the cap on every fill. I am a mechanical type but I still had difficulty getting the filler nozzle all the way into my fuel port. There is a warning on the package that if you don't, you'll dump fuel all over the place....DUH! After about 6 weeks, and maybe 3 fillups, the inner plastic flap (the all important seal) came unhinged and fell inside. Thankfully it is bigger than my Maxima's filler port so it didn't end up in my tank. I fumbled around and got it back together and then it happened again....and then on the fill after that!!! The spring is very strong so it's really hard to get it back together when it comes apart - your thumbs really burn afterwards:-(. A flat-out terrible design with inadequate materials. Go for something all metal with a VERY strong hing. I went back to the standard cap.
