(More customer reviews)I installed this fuel pump in my 2001 Ford Taurus. My old pump failed to start in cold weather. This is a quality Motorcraft pump. The pump came with a new o-ring to seal it in the fuel tank. This is the complete unit to replace your old pump, just take out your old pump and put this new one in. The hardest part of the replacement job was getting the fuel tank back on the car. Be sure to empty the tank as much as possible to keep the weight down. Also, both of the two fuel tank bolts came out stripped, I was careful and there was nothing I could have done to stop it. You might need to buy some new bolts if this happens to you too.
The price I found for this pump on Amazon.com was the best around. I usually buy auto parts from another online retailer, but Amazon's price was $65 less this time!
