(More customer reviews)My Civic needed a new air filter, and previous experience with K&N was very positive so I splurged on this. While I find the dyno chart K&N has for the 1.5 engine hard to believe, I can say there's a definite bump in low end torque and throttle response, perfect when driving conservatively. Top end I didn't really feel anything, but the soundtrack is better :-) My one complaint stems from the fact that for $120 you would think they would give you a tube that goes from the filter to the manifold. Instead you have to re-use the rubber hose from the old intake system which looks cheap and a pain to install on the curved piece they do give you. Which gets me thinking about all the other things I could have bought instead. $120 buys alot of used CD's, MGS4 & GTA4, etc. Perhaps in their testing it didn't make much difference, but still, injection molded plastic can't be THAT expensive. In the end it's worth it, but I sure hope your Civic has plenty of life left in it to make this a good value.
