(More customer reviews)This model does not include the locking mechanism. There are two models: one without the locking mechanism and one with the locking mechanism. So from the photo, you can mislead yourself by what you want, either with the lock or no lock, but only to find out later after opening the box of what you ordered may not match from what you really wanted. So if you don't want the fuel door with the lock buy this model. This saves the hassle of trying to get a refund back, and then order again for the one you want.
Both models though are ruggedized aircraft-grade aluminum, heavy duty fuel door springs, stainless steel nuts and bolts.
So simple to install, that is on the Chevrolet 4x4, I let my 9 year old nephew do the honor of getting it done. The fuel door is simple looking but heavy duty.
