(More customer reviews)I bought this in December 2009 to replace a very similar gauge on a brand new propane tank on my gas grill. I installed it exactly per the included instructions, hand-tightened only. The side with the black plastic cover is screwed onto the tank threads. Then the regulator is screwed onto the outlet side of the gauge. When I opened the valve on the propane tank, the gauge correctly indicates the tank is approx 2/3 full. However, no gas was flowing into the regulator. So, I called Camco on 22-Jan-2010. I was connected with a woman named Terry who explained that I must wait at least 2 full minutes for the gas to flow into the regulator due to the latest safety feature required on all propane tanks intended to guard against overfill. Therefore, I waited approx 5 minutes. Same result, no gas flowing into the regulator. I believe the outlet side of this gauge is simply not compatible with the fitting on the regulator of my grill. Therefore, I have no choice but to return this item.
