(More customer reviews)The fuel pump in my wifes car went out, I found one on the internet for about $70.00, ordered it, and installed... Seemed like it was OK, then the fuel pump on my truck went out, ordered another from the same place. Before the one for my truck arrived, the NEW ONE I'd just put in wife's car started making noise. I researched and found that these "off brand" fuel pumps (at least for GM products) were JUNK. I tried to return the new one for my truck, but they wanted $30.00 just to return it (SCAM) so I figured "MAYBE I'LL GET LUCKY" and put it in anyway. Well, before I even got mine in, our daughter came over one day then her car died... in front of our house... FUEL PUMP. Knowing these off brands were JUNK, I ordered her a DELPHI. In the meantime, I put junk one in my truck. DELPHI pump came for daughters car and I installed. As this was all happening, I ordered DELPHI pump for wife's car, HOPING my truck would be "OK" for awhile.. NO SUCH LUCK. Before DELPHI for wife's car arrived the cheap junk in my truck started whining. So I ordered ANOTHER DELPHI for the truck. Cheap pump in truck lasted about 2 months, and I just got through replacing it. Now wife's car is still whining and acting weird, but still running. I'll be replacing it here ANYDAY now. Moral of the story = You can buy CHEAP UNDERWEAR, cheap TOILET PAPER, and cheap BEER if you want to, but don't skimp on your fuel pump. (After pulling "NEW" cheap pump out of truck and comparing it to the DELPHI, I noticed the DELPHI is even HEAVIER, better built.
