(More customer reviews)This is a genuine Ford Motorcraft part. But regardless of what Amazon's compatibility chart says, it is NOT the proper replacement for the 2007 Escape XLT gasoline V6. The cap itself fits OK, but the tether and retainer are completely wrong. They are not removable, so you can't even swap it from the old cap. I should have bought the part numbered cap with the BP logo on it. But this one was cheaper, and the chart said it was a direct replacement.....Just so you know.
