(More customer reviews)Dealer will sell you this for about $500 and many dealers do not install only Ford/Mercury original parts. They might give you one of these. Installed it myself and it works great.
The dealer tried to tell me this pump was defective. Master Mechanic my eye. He pulled a few tricks to generate an error and then tried to sell me a bill of goods. I knew better and didconnected a vacuum line to the fuel rail and it ran great with no pressure drops or performance problems. In other words I replaced it to diagnose a problem and it performed exactly the same as the original.
