(More customer reviews)I needed the whole assembly because the pipes coming out of the round flange were rusted badly and leaking. I found this out when I went to replace the original pump, which had failed. This replacement part (the pump itself) lasted almost one year exactly. I ended up buying a Delphi pump and putting it into this assembly.
Some tips: In my application ('94 S-10 Blazer) there were two 4.3L V6's offered, which used different fuel supply systems, and two different fuel pumps. Also, if you have to drop the tank (as I had to - no access from the top) you may want to buy extra long fuel injection hoses to make it easier to connect the pump to the fuel lines (you'll have more space between the chassis and tank). Either way, not a fun job on this application.
