(More customer reviews)I researched new Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors for my 2009 Corvette (GM Part # 25758220) and here's what I found out...
1. OEM sensors cost about $80 each at a GM dealer.
2. Aftermarket sensors are available, but many aren't much cheaper than OEM.
During my search process I came across these SC8220 Sensors from Orange Electronic. I never heard of this company before, but they are well established in the TPMS industry. I bought 4 of these sensors and had them installed. I programmed the new sensors myself (I have a TPMS tool) and they work great! I had no issues with the car's computer recognizing them. I will post an update after more time has passed, but if these things hold up they are clearly the best deal going on TPMS sensors!

These sensors come complete with everything needed to install. They are packaged with the sensor, grommet, tire valve, retaining nut and valve-stem cap.
This model of sensor (SC8220) must be programmed with a TPMS tool in order for the car's computer to recognize them. Some newer sensors can be programmed simply by letting air out of each tire. That method won't work with these sensors...you must use a tool to do it. Any tire dealer can handle this for you when installing the sensors.
Corvette Owners: The SC8220 sensors work on 2005-2009 Corvettes. These will NOT work on 2010+ models. Corvettes used a different TPMS sensor starting in the 2010 model year.
Amazon sells rebuild kits for these sensors under Dorman Part # 609-104. Using a rebuild kit is recommended any time a sensor is removed from a wheel and re-installed.
