- This is a lifetime airflter that just needs to be cleaned every 20,000 miles.
- Cleaning is very simple, but it does require the K&N kit that has a lubricant to spray on the filter for each cleaning. I think the kit is around $10.00 but should last the entire time you own the car.
- The extra $10 for this filter and Free shipping pays for itself after the second time it has to be cleaned.
- Gas mileage is suppose to increase, but I cannot confirm this or have not had a significant increase to notice.
- Does come with a sticker to place on the outside of your air filter box so that the technicians at the garages do not mess with it or hassle you about buying an airfilter.
- Very simple to install if you have nver changed an air filter. Same as you would a regular airfilter. Takes about 3 - 5 minutes to change.
