(More customer reviews)The part is exactly as pictured, but be aware that you can't rely on the Amazon vehicle "part checker" to be 100% accurate. This part shows as a direct fit for a 1997 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC engine, but it doesn't fit it. If you have an SOHC, be sure and check which way the connector is pointing, because most likely yours is pointing to the side, and this one is straight up. Your cables may not reach and your cover may not fit over it. I did end up returning the item, and the Seller, Cerell Distributing Company, issued a prompt refund so I am happy with the transaction. I just wanted to put a note here so others would know about the SOHC error.
