(More customer reviews)The "locking" feature, where the cap freewheels around when you turn the cap ceases to work after a while. You can lock the cap, turn it to ensure the freewheeling feature is working, then just press with pressure on one edge of the cap and you can now engage (no longer freewheeling) the ratchet mechanism, twist off the cap. No key needed. Cap quit working after 30 months. I only fill up my truck every other week, so this cap is not very durable.
Cap did not cause any "check engine light" alerts.
