(More customer reviews)When I first tried to use this cap I could not get it to lock using the key. Then I removed the key and screwed the cap into the filler neck. That seems to allow the cap to free wheel and not be unscrewed.
So in summary, unlock the cap, unscrew the cap, remove the key, replace the cap.
