(More customer reviews)These are vise inserts for use with soft metals like aluminum. I use them to assemble -AN fittings as they do not mar the anodized finish in any way. If you have every had to tighten anything that is made from a soft metal you will find that the rubber inserts may not hold the item tight enough, but without them you scratch the finish of what you are working on. These inserts solve that problem.
