(More customer reviews)My 1983 Perkins was designed for high sulphur fuel. Modern low sulphur fuel does not provide the needed lubricity for the injection components. Stanadyne additive adds back the lubricity that the engine was designed for. Also, I've used this product for eight years and not found one drop of water in my primary filter. Engine starts easily and there is little or no smoke.
